Virtual Therapy Across Texas

It All Started in a Small Texas Town — Our Story of Care

Jess & Amanda  met while studying at Texas Woman’s University, the only counseling graduate program in the nation with an explicitly multicultural and feminist perspective. They bonded quickly over their shared interests, passions, and queer identities. Their training shaped not only how they practice therapy, but why they chose to build this space together.

They created this practice to reflect the values they hold most closely — inclusivity, authenticity, and care that truly affirms every part of you. Here, you’ll find a safe and supportive environment to bring your story, explore what matters most to you, and take steps toward healing at your own pace.

Therapy is more than working through the week’s problems - it’s about reconnecting with your authentic self, honoring your story, and finding new ways to move through life’s challenges. I believe healing happens in connection, and I strive to create a space where every part of you feels welcome, even the parts that feel heavy, messy, or hard to hold.

My approach is holistic and relational, rooted in multicultural feminist principles and guided by both the mind and body. I am passionate about working with trauma survivors, LGBTQ+ clients, and neurodivergent individuals, helping them feel deeply seen and supported in their identities. Together, we’ll explore how your lived experiences and relationships have shaped you, while also building tools for resilience, clarity, and growth.

I bring curiosity, compassion, and a willingness to gently challenge you to facilitate meaningful insight and change. My hope is that therapy offers you not only relief from past wounds, but also a stronger sense of self that feels grounded, connected, and empowered in your life and relationships.

If I’m honest, authenticity isn’t always easy. But it is the foundation of fulfilling relationships with ourselves and others. My goal is to help you explore what it means to show up fully and honestly in your relationships, with all the complexities that come with it.

If you and your partner are struggling with conflict, emotional distance, or repeating painful patterns, it can feel impossible to break free from cycles of hurt and disconnection. If you’re facing these challenges individually, they may surface as anxiety, unresolved trauma, or attachment wounds that make relationships difficult to navigate. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed by these struggles. The good news is that healing and change is possible.

As a queer relational therapist, I believe in bringing my full self into therapy, because real trust and connection can’t grow from a blank slate. Life is messy, unpredictable, and sometimes heavy, so I aim to be a steady, supportive presence while also reminding you that growth doesn’t have to feel clinical or all-serious, all the time.

I work with adults (18+) from all walks of life who want more clarity, healing, and connection. My specialties include high-conflict couples facing relationship issues like infidelity or the lingering impact of past betrayal. I also support clients navigating intimacy challenges and the pain of breakup and divorce. I’m especially passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, untangling complex relationship dynamics, and finding resilience through life’s toughest transitions.

At the heart of my work is this: I want therapy to feel real. That means authentic connection, space for humor and humanity, and a commitment to helping you uncover what’s true and meaningful for you. Together, we’ll work toward healing, deeper self-understanding, and relationships that actually feel good to be in.
